What is on the wrapper?
A round cake with thick pink icing dripping down the sides on a silver stand, one striped candle burning in the middle, gold sparks and confetti bursting outward. BLOW ME in gold across the top, IT’S MY BIRTHDAY in gold and white below. Blowing out a candle is the most literal reading available, and it is not the one anyone takes.
Is it a real condom?
Yes. It is CE marked and certified to ISO 4074, the international safety standard for latex condoms: 52mm nominal width (±2mm), over 180mm long, 4 to 5 year shelf life. The joke stops at the foil. Made by Kissy Bang Bang, a London printer of funny condoms since 2007.
When to hand it out
