What is on the wrapper?
A caricature of a gurning British comic character with slicked dark hair, raised eyebrows and an enormous protruding tongue, in a navy jacket and red tie, against a full-bleed distressed Union Jack. LICK MY BEAN in cream capitals across the lower half. A well-known comedy face, kept deliberately unnamed, doing a pun on a surname.
Is it a real condom?
Yes. Same certification you would expect off a pharmacy shelf — CE marked, ISO 4074, 52mm nominal width (±2mm), over 180mm long, 4 to 5 year shelf life. The printing is the only thing that changes. Made by Kissy Bang Bang, a London printer of funny condoms since 2007.
When to hand it out
Stag nights, British-themed parties, Secret Santa, and tourist retail. It has been in the range for years and is one of the most recognisable designs in it.
