What is on the wrapper?
A domed spotted dick on a blue-rimmed china plate, dotted with dark currants, with thick yellow custard cascading down one side. Navy serif type with small ornamental flourishes either side. The most famous accidentally rude name in British cooking, presented without comment.
Is it a real condom?
Yes. Underneath the printing it is a fully certified condom: CE marked, ISO 4074, 52mm nominal width (±2mm), 180mm-plus, with a 4 to 5 year shelf life. Nothing about the joke touches the latex. Kissy Bang Bang started printing these in London in 2007 and has not stopped.
When to hand it out
Stag nights, Father’s Day, British food gift sets, and tourists who cannot believe the name is real. A dependable seller purely on the strength of the phrase.
