What is on the wrapper?
A plain dark door standing ajar, with a line of triangular rainbow bunting strung across the top in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. Flat shapes, no shading, heavy grey type below. A shop-sign phrase and a picture that refuses to explain itself.
Is it a real condom?
Yes. It is CE marked and certified to ISO 4074, the international safety standard for latex condoms: 52mm nominal width (±2mm), over 180mm long, 4 to 5 year shelf life. The joke stops at the foil. Printed by Kissy Bang Bang, who have been doing this in London since 2007.
When to hand it out
Pride events, hen and stag weekends, and party bags for people who enjoy a joke that takes a second. Not the one for the sexual-health stall at a school.
