“WELL HUNG” is set in red and green above three Christmas stockings — red, green and blue — hanging off a wooden mantel beam with holly at either end. Entirely wholesome until you read it twice.

What is on the wrapper?

A varnished mantel beam with three knitted stockings dangling from it, sprigs of holly at both ends and little gold sparkles around the type. It is a Christmas-card scene doing double duty as a boast, which is the whole trick — nothing on the wrapper is rude, only the reading of it.

Is it a real condom?

Yes. It is CE marked and certified to ISO 4074, the international safety standard for latex condoms: 52mm nominal width (±2mm), over 180mm long, 4 to 5 year shelf life. The joke stops at the foil. Made by Kissy Bang Bang, a London printer of funny condoms since 2007.

When to hand it out

Secret Santa in an office that can take it, a stocking filler for someone who will laugh rather than blush, and Christmas party bags. It is the safest of the rude Christmas designs to hand to somebody’s parents.
