Description
“Fancy Some Cream?” is asked over a split scone piled with clotted cream and strawberry jam. Afternoon tea, and an entirely innocent enquiry.
What is on the wrapper?
A golden scone opened out, one half heaped with thick clotted cream and the other spread with red jam, drawn richly enough to look like a menu photograph. Navy serif type above. Nothing on the wrapper is rude; the question does all of it.
Is it a real condom?
Yes. Underneath the printing it is a fully certified condom: CE marked, ISO 4074, 52mm nominal width (±2mm), 180mm-plus, with a 4 to 5 year shelf life. Nothing about the joke touches the latex. Kissy Bang Bang has printed funny condoms in London since 2007.
When to hand it out
Cream tea souvenirs, hen weekends, Mother’s Day gifts for a mother with a sense of humour, and anyone who has strong views on the jam-or-cream-first question.
