What is on the wrapper?
A fairground carousel horse with a blonde mane, pink saddle and gold barley-twist pole, and a red-edged ADMIT ONE ticket behind its head. BRIDE’S in pink, LAST in gold, RIDE in blue. A fairground picture and a sentence that is very much not about fairgrounds.
Is it a real condom?
Yes. It is CE marked and certified to ISO 4074, the international safety standard for latex condoms: 52mm nominal width (±2mm), over 180mm long, 4 to 5 year shelf life. The joke stops at the foil. Printed by Kissy Bang Bang, who have been doing this in London since 2007.
When to hand it out
Hen weekends, particularly the loud kind. It is one of the bolder designs in the wedding range, so read the room before it goes in the mother-of-the-bride’s goody bag.
