Condoms for Universities: Branded for Student Unions

From freshers welcome packs to year-round sexual health campaigns, branded condoms are the campus giveaway students actually pocket. Put your student union, society or sexual health service on a real, certified condom, ordered in bulk and turned around fast. Kissy Bang Bang prints custom branded condoms from just 50 pieces, and sends a photo of your real printed wrapper before we run the full order.

Campus condoms, sorted

  • Your SU, society or sexual health service, printed in full colour on the wrapper.
  • From 50 pieces for a pilot, scaling to thousands for a full campus rollout.
  • A real photo proof on every order over 100, before we print the rest.
  • CE and ISO 4074 certified. Any wrapper colour. We beat any like-for-like quote.
Ordering for freshers? Welcome-week and Sexual Health Week (mid-September) stock is best locked in through August. Custom runs under 1,000 pieces print within one working day of artwork approval, but booking early keeps you clear of the freshers rush.

Who orders campus condoms

Student unions and welfare teams, university sexual health and wellbeing services, societies and sports clubs, RAG and fundraising drives, and freshers campaigns. If it carries your branding and does a useful job, a condom earns its place in the welcome pack and the welfare stall alike. Running a freshers push specifically? See our freshers week condoms page and the freshers branded condom playbook.

Why they work on campus

Students keep them, share them, and respect the harm-reduction message rather than rolling their eyes at it. A branded condom puts your SU or service name in pockets right across campus, and pairs your brand with the simple message that you are looking after people. It is reach and goodwill in one small, useful object, and it works long after freshers week is over.

Certified medical devices, not novelty stock

This is the line welfare teams care about most. When a UK nightclub once handed students thousands of novelty condoms with no expiry date, no batch number and only tiny “not recommended for use” wording, health officials publicly called it irresponsible, and the club took the reputational hit. Our condoms are the opposite: real, usable, certified medical devices. Every one is CE marked and certified to ISO 4074, the same BS EN ISO 4074 standard NHS scheme condoms are tested against, with the expiry date and batch number on every foil. Printing your logo on the outer wrapper does not touch the condom inside or its certification. You hand out something students can actually use, not a gag that lands your union in the local paper.

What you can put on them

The SU logo, a society or club crest, your sexual health service name with a helpline or a QR code to booking and advice, a freshers theme, or a campaign slogan. Full colour on a white wrapper, or any wrapper colour through full-foil print. Run one design union-wide, or a different one per society.

How campus orders work

  1. Send your artwork or a rough brief. We set it up for free, with no origination fee.
  2. For orders over 100, approve a real photograph of your printed wrapper before we run the rest.
  3. We print and dispatch, fast, in time for freshers or your campaign launch.

Pricing for campus runs

The price per condom drops as the run grows: 500 at £0.49 each, 1,000 at £0.39, and 5,000 at £0.33, with no setup fee. Start with 50 for a pilot, then scale once the design is signed off. For the full breakdown, see our custom condom price list, or read the wider guide to custom branded condoms.

For sexual health and wellbeing services

University and NHS-partnered sexual health services hand out condoms all year, not just in September. We supply branded, certified condoms in bulk, delivered discreetly, with your service name and a booking or helpline QR code on the wrapper. A freebie becomes a piece of outreach students keep on them.

If you procure through a health or council framework, our condoms are certified medical devices (CE marked, tested to BS EN ISO 4074) with the expiry date and batch number on every foil, the specification these schemes require. Procurement teams generally classify condoms under CPV code 33712000, and the work sits within what NICE calls “condom distribution schemes to prevent STIs.” We supply the certificates on request so your welfare, health-service or procurement team has the paperwork it needs to sign off.

How UK campuses run condom schemes

Branded condoms are a fixture of campus harm reduction, not a novelty. A widely reported Cambridge pilot funded around 9,000 free condoms through a student-union budget of roughly £5,000, tied into the local NHS C-Card scheme. Bristol SU has run harm-reduction boxes pairing condoms with drug-safety and mental-health information, explicitly positioned as “not just a gimmick.” St Andrews supplies free condoms through union staff, machines and student services via NHS Sexual Health Fife. Sexual Health Week in mid-September gives most unions a natural second push after freshers. These are examples of how institutions run their schemes, not our own campaigns, but they are the model your certified branded stock is built to serve.

The proof bit: unlike most suppliers who send a digital mock-up, you get a real photograph of your actual printed wrapper before we run the full order over 100 pieces. What you approve is what you get.

Frequently asked questions

Can you print our student union or society logo on the condoms?
Yes. We print your SU logo, society crest, sexual health service name or artwork in full colour on the wrapper, set up for free with no origination fee. You can run one design union-wide or a different one per society.
What is the minimum order for campus condoms?
Just 50 pieces for a pilot, scaling to thousands for a full campus rollout. The absolute minimum across our range is 6, but 50 is the usual starting point for a branded campus run.
Do you supply university sexual health and wellbeing services?
Yes. We supply branded, certified condoms in bulk for SU welfare teams, university sexual health services and campus campaigns, with your service name and a booking or helpline QR code on the wrapper, delivered discreetly.
How fast is turnaround for a freshers campaign?
Custom orders under 1,000 pieces are typically printed within one working day of artwork approval. Larger runs are confirmed at quote. Tell us your freshers or launch date and we will work to it.
How much do campus condoms cost?
The price per condom drops with volume: around £0.49 each at 500, £0.39 at 1,000 and £0.33 at 5,000, with no setup fee. See our custom condom price list for the full tiers, and we will beat any like-for-like quote.
Are they certified and safe?
Yes. Every condom is CE and ISO 4074 certified and factory-tested. Printing your design on the wrapper does not affect the condom inside, which is standard fit.
Can you deliver to campus or multiple sites?
Yes. We deliver across the UK and Europe, to a single campus or split across sites and unions, and quote shipping as part of larger orders. Just tell us where it needs to land and when.
Are your condoms compatible with NHS C-Card and free-condom schemes?
Yes. They are standard medical devices, CE marked and certified to ISO 4074 (the same standard, BS EN ISO 4074, that NHS scheme condoms are tested against), with the expiry date and batch number on every foil. Your branding is on the outer wrapper only, so it does not affect compatibility with C-Card or local free-condom schemes. We provide the certificates on request for your welfare or health-service team.
When should we order for Freshers’ Week?
Order through August so your certified branded stock lands before late-August and September freshers’ events and Sexual Health Week in mid-September. Custom runs under 1,000 pieces are typically printed within one working day of artwork approval, but booking early protects you against the freshers rush.
Are these usable condoms or novelty stock?
Usable, certified condoms. Every one is a real medical device, CE marked and certified to ISO 4074, with the expiry date and batch number on the foil. Unlike novelty giveaways that carry “not recommended for use” wording, ours are made to be handed out and used, which is what protects your union from a harm-reduction scheme turning into a reputational problem. Your logo goes on the outer wrapper only and does not affect the condom or its certification.
Can you supply under an NHS or council procurement framework?
Our condoms are certified medical devices, CE marked and tested to BS EN ISO 4074, with the expiry date and batch number on every foil, which is the specification these schemes require. Condoms are generally classified under CPV code 33712000, within what NICE describes as condom distribution schemes to prevent STIs. We supply the conformity certificates on request so your procurement, welfare or health-service team can complete sign-off.
