“WTF” is spelled out using three brightly coloured square app icons lined up in a row — the letters borrowed from logos everybody has on their phone.
What is on the wrapper?
Three rounded-square tiles side by side, red, pale blue and dark blue, each carrying a single letter or symbol in the flat style of a phone home screen, which together read as the initialism. No other elements on the wrapper. The joke is entirely in the recognition.
Is it a real condom?
Yes. Same certification you would expect off a pharmacy shelf — CE marked, ISO 4074, 52mm nominal width (±2mm), over 180mm long, 4 to 5 year shelf life. The printing is the only thing that changes. Made by Kissy Bang Bang, a London printer of funny condoms since 2007.
When to hand it out
